My Three Style Obsessions: Suzanne Davis

Suzanne Davis is the founder of Striving Onward, a female empowerment site that delivers daily posts from women around the country discussing topics like fat talk, relationships, self-confidence and more.

As you can see from her weekly vlog appearances on Striving Onward, Davis tackles these tough women issues looking classy all the while.

“My style philosophy is to invest in key, classic staples that will last, offer wardrobe versatility and never go out of style,” she says. “Then play with less expensive statement accessories to add color and edge.”

Here, Davis shares what classic pieces she's picking up this spring.

1. Banana Republic White Sateen Pencil Skirt ($80) Whether you dress it up with a silk top or wear it more casual with a t-shirt, having this wardrobe staple is a must. I love the fact that you can rotate this piece with different styles every few days!

2. Moon and Lola Small Gold-Fill Script Monogram Pendant Necklace ($200) Preppy and so versatile, this piece looks great on tan skin. Peeking from under a collar or sitting front and center with a scoop neck, this piece of jewelry adds just the right touch of pizazz to any fashion ensemble.

3. J. Crew Tortoise Capri Sandals ($45) I just bought this pair from J. Crew and I'm OBSESSED. While comfortable, their tortoise shell straps create a dressier look that's perfect for tailored pants and skirts. It's so important to have easy-to-wear shoes that you can take to the beach and then the bar afterwards.

On Wednesday night, June 19, Davis and Striving Onward contributors are taking to Twitter from 9-10 p.m. EDT to chat about body image. Follow @strivingonward to tune in. For more information, visit www.strivingonward.com
